This is a great evaluation for kids and is done every few months!

The Bull Run Kids (BRK) Program educates and enhances a lifestyle of physical activity and confidence in achieving various levels of fitness.

BRK supports healthy competitive sportsmanship and tracks individual results to reinforce a positive atmosphere and show our athletes’ progress.

From our adult programs to our kids program, we are one fitness community. We motivate each other on social media and most importantly, inside of the gym through teamwork, support and encouragement, partner workouts, and cheering each other on until all have completed a workout.

Our goal is to develop strong and athletic kids to create a foundation of confidence to assist them in various aspects of their lives.  BRK provides the opportunity for our kids to excel in their current sports teams or to encourage them to adopt fitness as a lifestyle.

Our programming focuses on all areas of strength and endurance to support our kids’ long-term goals and to build their confidence and competitive drive in a safe, fun and educational environment.

Strength

Strength begins by using the child’s body weight and progressing to light weights.

We focus on functional movements, bending, squatting, running, pushing, pulling.

Flexibility

Flexibility allows the child to increase their range of movement in their joints and lengthen their muscle groups to provide safe fitness positions and support themselves as they perform the fitness movements.

Balance

Increasing the individual’s balance ability by using various gymnastic movements such as handstands, tumbling, rings, and the bar allows the athlete to enhance flexibility and confidence while being inverted or in awkward positions.

Endurance

Concentration in increasing endurance from high intensity training allows the children to perform against themselves by showing progress in their workouts for time, number of reps, or increasing the rounds determined by the workout.
